Pretty unlikley. Hard to get, and very expensive steel. Maxamet was/is darn close, and many complained about brittleness and chipping edges even with it. If you don't have a Maxamet one already, I would get one while you still can. I'm betting they won't be around next year.
Keep a closer eye on the dealers. They haven't been all that hard to get, but they have been a bit limited. I've seen a good number of them here on the exchange at reasonable prices (not all are priced well, some turkeys are trying to flip them). They dont seem to be around at all
I've had no issues with my first gen Maxamet blades either, and have used them pretty well. Not cutting conveyor belting, mind you (Interesting thread since this is what I happened to carry today. It's a 1st gen blade though that is straight, not one of the newer ones. I've had no issues with it whatsoever (knock on wood).

91bravo ), but they do excel at tasks that would dull any other steel pretty rapidly.
Oh dang! The conveyor belt was only 3/8” thick. I’ve cut up to 1/2” with my other Spydies with no problems! I did get the very first batch of Maxamet that they came out with too.
Oh dang!I thought it was a LOT thicker than that!
Nah, that's what a good folder is supposed to be for! If not, we ought just sell them all!I probably shouldn’t be using a folder to cut, but I don’t feel like carrying a fixed blade on my hip at work. I already carry a tool pouch, radio and O2 meter on my belt. So folder it is! I could also use a box cutter, but what fun would that be?
Farid Mehr is another maker that I'm aware of who uses Rex121 as well.As others have mentioned, it probably isn't going to happen anytime soon. If you want REX 121, Gary Creely is the only knife maker I am aware of that uses that steel.
Of all the FFG Maxamet knives that Spyderco currently offers, the PM2 design is probably the least robust. The FFG Maxamet Native 5 is probably the most robust of the FFG Maxamet Spydercos. However, I expect it is still less robust than the HFG Creely REX121 Mako.
If I was in the market for an existing Maxamet or Rex 121 knife, I would probably opt for the Creely. If Spyderco were to offer Maxamet or REX 121 in a saber grind with a more gradual plunge, then I might be interested.

Some Titanium box cutters with bimetallic blades can be fun. Cardboard has Silcates in it like wood does. Quartz sharpening stones like Arkansas stones also contain Quartz. Cardboard can be detrimental to an edge. We need Rex 121 disposable blades.
Nope! There’s no law against resharpening “disposable” blades.
