well guess what showed up at my door today when i got home from school? My reground Lahar!!!!!!!!
I am sooo happy with it! Paper thin edge, shaves easily, feels like it will chip easily (thats cause 1. i have never handled a knife ground to .010 in before, so what do i know, and 2. its paper thin. lets just say i got what I asked for
), but i dont intend to use it like my other knives. grinds are MORE beautiful than the grinds from Kershaw's factory (all of you who own a Lahar, you know thats a feat in and of itself).
I want to get REALLY nice photos of this baby to post, so for now you will have to take my word for it. Tom did an EXCELLENT job, and i would recomend him to anyone.
Tim (why i am wanting to call you Timmy for, i dunno), excellent design again on the Lahar, and Tom excellent job, again, on the regrind. you will be seeing at least one more of my knives by years end, possibly two (JYD2 and not sure on the second one).
*insert huge smiley here*
