more Zircote! some lovely grain on that one to, and the maple burl and bloodwood also look nice. I like the simple handle shape and curve to the top of the blade, sucks to be low on funds, hopefully they come back up while there still available!

Thanks for the pictures John

Ryan`s plan is to keep some in stock. If not in stock, it is a 2-3 week wait.

These all look beautiful! I can't wait to get them up on the website. As John posted, I will be keeping a few of these in stock. I will be offering a with and without sheath price as well. I may also try and keep a couple of Johns other designs in stock.

Very nice way to start out the collaboration.

I look forward to seeing some nice RGrizzleLeather sheath work for these.

An an excellent value as well!!

I was watching Ryan's site to see when he updated.

I want to order a new belt from him, still deciding what I want.

I wish you both the best of luck with this new collaboration!

Thanks for posting the links John and I appreciate the compliments from everyone else.

I haven't had time to post much lately. For the past 2-3 weeks my wife and I have spent most of our spare time trying to get a new website up. Two different times we had a new website built but when the hosting company tried to help us publish it, both times both my new and old site were messed up. Finally we got another site built and we published it about 3 am this morning. I think it will be a lot better than the old one. Between making holsters and working on websites every night up unto the early hours of the morning, we are worn out. We took today off to recover. We are going to get some pizza and wings and this evening kick back and watch some Rawhide episodes I have recorded. Tomorrow we'll get back to work.

Here is a picture of my personal Mini Appalachia in beautiful maple burl. I really like this little knife. I also have another Appalachia Special on order in Olivewood.

This is currently my most 're-viwed" knife (you know when you keep going to look at the pictures over and over because you just want to check the "measurements/availability/what angle was that picture taken from again/what wood was available" etc.

Surprised not to see more pictures of them around here, I thought a few had sold?

Wow! I especially like that olivewood, that's a looker for sure.

 they look stunning!

don't throw that pattern away john, I may one day have money again you know :)

Got the knives today. Beautiful as always John. Got them up on the website ready to ship. The Olivewood is awesome.

Edit to add: These Appalachia Specials are coming in at approx. 8 1/4" OAL with 4 1/4" handle and 4" blade measured from the front of the scales. The cutting edge is 3 3/4" and the blade is 1 1/4" tall/wide, made from 5/32" thick O1 steel. This design started out as a gift for my brother for hunting and day to day use. I was very pleased with the way it turned out. This is a good size knife for hunting, hiking or general use and the drop point blade will work well for many tasks.

The Mini is a scaled down pocket version of the Appalachia Special. It is approx. 5 5/8" OAL with 2 7/8" handle and 2 3/4" blade . The cutting edge is about 2 1/2" and the blade is 1" tall/wide made from 1/8" thick O1 steel. I designed this knife to be compact and easily fit in a pocket while still having enough blade and handle to be useful. I use one of these for EDC.
