Rhett Stidham Passed away today.

As emailed to me by a friend a few minutes ago:

'Rhett Stidham passed away today, April 23, 2011 at 4:00 PM. Rhett left this world peacefully at home surrounded by Janie, family members and friends.
Rhett left instructions that his body be donated to Duke Medical Center.
Information regarding memorial services will be announced later.'

I spoke with Rhett on the phone two weeks ago today, and he gave me the impression that while things weren't looking well, he was at peace.

Rhett, we're gonna miss you bud.

I never met the man, but have spoken on the phone and emailed him several times. He was always friendly and a wealth of knowledge, he will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace friend.
