I just bought a new truck saturday and I'm wanting to get a spray in bed liner. The two available in my area are Rhino and Line-X. Does anybody have experience with both or either of these? How do they compare in appearance, durability and cost? Thanks for you help in advance.

Hey, I just bought a King Ranch F-150 on Tuesday and had an insert bed-liner installed. I take it spray ins are superior. How much more are they than regular?

I had my truck bed done by Line-X about four years ago. I'm not very hard on my truck, plywood here, drywall there, DIY kind of projects. I've been very pleased. It looks brand new, no fading, chipping, etc. My only complaint would be when it gets dirty it is a bit hard to clean. A pressuure wash won't do it, but a little scrubbing will take care of it.

I use a plain rubber mat in my truck. I don't trust the drop in
bead liners and don't like it that they aren't easy to remove to wash
the bed out like a mat.

If I were to use my truck for heavy work I would choose the Rhino
spray in liner to protect the entire bed. I don't have any experiance
with any other spray in liner. I've owned trucks with Rhino liner
and it was fine for me.

For heavy duty work, the Rhino liner seems to be the better choice. After some use, the color can go from black to dark grey though, but it doesn't affect how it works.

I've had line-x and found it thinner, more abrasive, but very very tough.I went with Rhino in my new tundra,it was cheaper than line-x and I like it better...won't scratch everything you put in it.make sure they put it in nice and thick and be prepared, nothing will slide at all in your bed afterwards, makes it hard to wash sand or whatever out of the bed.I payed $350 for OTR longbed.

Yup..., Rhino for me too.., no complaints at all.., and I abuse it pretty well...

We have a full size truck at home with the Rhino lining. Absolutely awesome. I have had no problems with sliding scrathing or wear on anything liner included. Well I take that back there is one spot on the tailgate where a full size snow plow was drug across but even that left a very small mark. This stuff is absolutely awesome.

Lol Don. I won't be installing it myself so no hootus worries.
Thanks for all the info guys. Looks like both Rhino and Line-X are going to run $350-400. I'm going to check out Line-X tomorrow and Rhino later in the week and see which I like the best. Sounds like either one will do the job.
