Rhomphaia Sword of Sitalkes II-Opening Up Discontinued Items

One of our featured swords of the week is our Rhomphaia Sword. We have recently been opening up some of our discontinued items on our site to our customers. Some of our items are marked “no longer available to order” due to having to manage high order lists in our shop year round. We have recently slowed enough to open some of these back up, on a limited basis. Thought we’d share some pictures of our Rhomphaia:

Shop Details:
1095 High Carbon Spring Steel. Steel is Heat Hardened & quenched in oil. Heat Tempered @ 500 degrees for 2 hours, and letting it air cool.

Measurements:
Total Length = 42"
Blade Length = 28"
Blade Width = 2 1/8"
Blade Thickness = 3/16"
Handle Length = 14"
Handle Width = 3/4 x 1 3/8"
Handle: Maple with Ebony & Gunstock Stain Mix
Weight: 3 ¾ pounds

That is about the scariest blade I have ever seen and would flee the battlefield at the sight of it!
I do think a shorter handle would look nice on it.
