Richard Rogers is probably best known for his magnificent handmade slip joint knives, but I just picked up a really nice fixed blade made by him. The knife was originally made for our own Danbo. The CPM3V blade is 6 1/8 with a nice hand-rubbed finish, and was heat treated by Paul Bos. The blade is flat ground and sharp. Excellent grinds. The handle is made from green micarta and measures about 5. The contours of the handle make for a comfortable and secure grip. The construction appears to be mortised tang. Overall a very nice camp knife that is elegant and seems built for serious use.
Dont count on my field testing report anytime soon because I am enjoying just looking at and handling this one for the moment.
Below are a couple of pictures with my Mnandi thrown in to get an idea of the size of this knife.
