Hi,
I have just acquired a Richards Lampost logo single blade 4" folding knife. The handle is pressed steel and on one side it has a thin white celluloid covering which has a picture of an elephant and the word Africa underneath, the other side of the handle has black celluloid. There is a patch of rust under the white celluloid which shows up as an orange stain. Is there any way of removing the rust, or if it can't be removed of treating it so that it goes no further. These knives were sold in SA by the thousand during the 1960's but are now rather scarce and I have been looking for one for ages as I remember them very well when I was a child.
