Richmond gun show and fake Busse!

So today was the Richmond Va. Gun show so my dad an I decided to go. Well with in the first two rows of tables I noticed some knives and walk over and immediately know something is wrong when I noticed 2 hinderer small fixed blades for 75$ and they were thinner than my spyderco Rock lobster. Well I keep looking at all the junk that is on the table and see talon holes and a Busse, not the case! I believe it was a Boss Jack? (I don't know every Busse out there )but I pick it up and instantly know it's a fake fit finish scales all wrong! Then I noticed it clearly said Eusse combat and that was funny but as soon as I go to snap a pic the knife and 2 hinderers were taken off the table and was told I couldn't take a pic!? The sad part is I very rarely leave my apt except for Doc appointments and I haven't been to a gun show in a long time and I find this! Of course there were fake spydercos Ect but a Busse I woulda never guessed. So as a late Halloween tale beware.....they are out there!!!! After doing some looking looks like it was a SAR 6 I saw.

Good to know. That guy deserves a nice blackened eye or worse. Maybe next time you can alert the people organizing things.
 
I saw them as well and called the guy out on them. He got very defensive. I wanted To sneak a pic of them but had left my phone in the truck. I asked the seller if the hinderers were real because something didn't look right and he said " I don't know what the hell they are I got a big box of knives with them in it" then I saw the Busse (white and blue plastic handles cut like g10) and it had the Busse knife on the logo but the words were off. A disgrace indeed
 
If you make a quality item people will always try to emulate , One thing is for sure , they ain't fooling us HOGS .....

We always find our truffles :)

Yep! You found the same guy and knives!
 
They were at the last show at RIR as well. If they are there next time I think I will offer him 20$ for all three, take them home, put them in my forge and beat them into a ball of metal.
