Im very interested in this knife. Im probably not the first around here to say that either.

Wondering though... What the wait time is usually to get one?

And you lucky folks that have one? Tell me about it.

Better than a Strider PT? SnG?

Search doesnt work from work; firewall I guess, so I couldnt do that.

Thanks all.:p

I got mine in about 2 months, I love it! it is agreat heavy duty knife. I would like a 3 inch daily version, but I have not heard from Rick in quite a while. Steven

I got the one I had from Rick at Blade. I have an order for a 3 inch. lime green version. It is a custom knife, and blows a Strider PT & SnG out of the water. Rick makes each XM-18 1 at a time. Rick makes an incredible custom knife!! He even makes ALL the hardware that he uses to put the knife together!! I agree that is a GREAT heavy duty knife.

I shall have to try to order one then. How did you decide on a color? Seems so many choices!

Not sure of the waiting time but I do know I am waiting. I got ahold of one in the passaround and I loved it. It feels very heavy duty, hard to explain, but I felt like I could do whatever too it. I just cant wait for mine.

My order went in around the beginning of August. Rick informed me it would be about 6 months.

That's why I ordered 4 extra G10 sides.:p Rick had some tooling issues and is running a couple of months behind now but once he gets into full swing again I would guess it would be about a month wait. That's what I was originally quoted with his old machinery but I may have just gotten in at a time when he was working on a batch.

I got blue/black G-10 and the larger version, I wonder if its too late to ask for the flipper?

I wanted to order one as well but read a post from Rick on his forum that he's not taking individual orders at this time other than those for military, leo, or firemen....he is making some now for retail sale though.

Hello everyone! Thanks so much for the interest in the XM-18....Yes, this model is definitly my most popular!..As has been said, unfortunitly I am running behind on these..I had a nightmare of a summer...but the good news is that things are really starting to smooth out...

Barrabas74, yes, you may change to a flipper no problem..shoot me a email

Also, I did have to suspend orders until I can get caught up,BUT, I will be getting XM-18's to my dealers very soon,so your best bet at snagging one is to contact one of your favorite dealers to check on when they will be expecting them...

or..I will be at the NY show this weekend with a few XM-18's ;) Thanks again and I hope I can answer any questions you all may have..If I'm a little late in posting its because of the show :)
