Just received the sheath for my Bushfinger and I feel I need to share this. It's a Rick Lowe with Logo Print on the front, I think this is the first ever
(sorry the quality of the pictures does not do justice to the real thing, and nothing compared to the mistwalker picture quality...)

I asked Rick to do a sheath for my bushfinger and would like my dogs footprint on the sheath, and look what I got it is SUPER NICE !

Not to mention it fits perfectly to the coolest ever bushfinger (African Blackwood over natual canvas with a white g10 pinstripe, Tapered Tang, convex on 5/32” thick steel)

Hope you can all use this link to the pictures:

Rick makes some really nice sheaths! I love the one he made for my Kepahart!

Thanks a lot everyone, my dog is a giant schnauzer but Rick used his own dog :) funny enough the footprint is the same...of cause if he had used my own dogs it would have had to be scaled down to fit the sheath :D...
But I found the idea fun, it came to me one day when I was walking in the wood and saw the footprint in the snow. Of cause at that point I was not sure Rick could do it, but I truely think it turned out very nice and in general I think the sheath fits the knife very very nice...

Hi Ronny,

That is very nice indeed! That is an awesome example of pure workmanship from both Andy and Rick. Thank you for sharing that with us. Please do not hesitate to share more photos if you feel so inclined. :)

Great photos Ronny! Andy's work always makes mine a bit easier knowing the quality will assure the right fit. We have two American Bulldogs and Max is the model for this footprint. Had to keep feeding him treats while tracing that big ole paw. He likes doing his part on the distressed look sheaths a lot better!

That is a very cool personalization/customization for a sheath - really stands out and is a gorgeous pair

Rick is currently making me a piggyback rig for my 12" Fiddleback machete in combination with my Kephart...and also making me a sheath for my new KPH purchase from this week's Fiddleback Friday! His work is terrific! I can't wait to see the results from these projects!

I want to see what he comes up for the KPH with that awesome handle color.

I didn't consider one thing when I said I thought my Kephart was a little heavier than I would want for the smaller knife in a piggy-back rig. My Kephart is full tang, so it's heavier than yours. I am thinking in your case those two will make a heck of a bladric rig set up and cover pretty much any base imaginable...other than building a cabin in the snow. That 12 inch machete is a really good chopper so even that would be possible if you kept it to a small cabin made of small diameter logs...but you'd definitely work for it :) I would be curious to know what the weight differnce is between our Kepharts though. I'll weigh mine later today and see where it stands.

Speaking of piggyback rigs, heres a little preview of the one Rick made for me for my BRKT Golok/Bushfinger. I'll do a full review with pics as soon as it gets here.

Nice rig, Pharaoh! I just received pics of your rig from Rick. I have him creating a piggyback rig for me right now w/ a 12" Fiddleback Machete in combo with (hopefully) either/or my Kephart or my KPH! I can't wait!
