Here it is,the debut of the "N.Y. Backpocket"
Basically a scaled down 4" size at 3-7/8" closed. It will never see the inside of my backpocket though, this is custom ordered to squeeze as much size into a pocketknife without the actual 4" size.I'll carry this in my front pocket. The drop point styling of the blade is Rick's creation after me sending him pictures & discussing drop point blades in those Backpocket knives by Tony ,Reese & Kerry.
Rick has been making slipjoints for about a year,I believe & we've seen a lot of shadows, but don't let this guy fool you,he has got it down.Look at the mammoth Ivory on this!Look at the rounding of the backspring and bolster. This feels so darn soft & warm in my hand, its beautiful. The blade is ground wicked thin,a slicer, just what I was looking for ,in SS.Perfect spring tension, springs flush in all positions of the half stops & pivot that is so smooth.
Sorry for my "backyard" photography,I try to do a good job,to show gorgeous knives when I get them.
Enough of my rambling, but I'm taken back here Rick & all. This is just way over the top for me here today ,VERY >
Rick,Thank You,so much
Enjoy the pics...
