I have a Riders of the Silver Screen Collector Series Knife. I received it as a gift and was wondering how old it is. It is a folding knife w/ two blades. It has Lash LaRue on one side and on the other it has Zorro, Lone Ranger, Gene Autry, and other characters. It also has a small "x" shape grinding through the Camillus name, does that mean its a factory second? Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks
Brian

mydbd,
First of all, yes, an "x" through the tang stamp designates a Camillus knife a second. As far as how old it is. My guess is that it is about 3 or 4 years old. I believe, Camillus put through a run of "seconds" with some imperfect handles. Probably has some "spiderwebbing" around one or more of the handle rivets. Hope this helps you.
