What's in your pocket in case you have to spring into action? Here's mine, I'm in east Central Florida and hunkered down.

Hope all is well. This is my tornado kit. First aid kit fits in the pack with bottles of water and granola bars.
If I were worried about security I would at least have my Glock.

10 lbs of beef jerky, an ass-pocket of Jack Daniels, and titanium machete.

Carrying anything beyond my usual would be pretty low on my list if I was facing the electrical outages and general damage of a hurricane. Mostly concerned about water. 10 years ago I got my first generator. It gives me peace of mind as long as I have a couple days of continuous running worth of fuel on hand. A functional chain saw would be important.
