Riding the Big Wave

Everynow and then I still get a request to Wave a folder. Its rather rare that I am requested to Wave one that is already Waved though. In fact I think this is the only one that I have had sent to me.

Its pretty radical. At first I was a bit like, you must be kidding right? But then in the end I said ok. It looks wild, but I tell ya, it works! No missing this one out of the pocket; as it can't help but catch.

This is a P-SARK. I never knew how far down the threads went into one of the Emerson knives for that thumb disc until doing this mod. That hole is deep!

It looks super nice closed, the lines of the blade spine and handle flow together to well.

Thanks. It was a chore grinding I'll say that. I am still not sure what I think of that one. It isn't something I'd do to one of my own but it did work exceptionally well and seemingly was exactly what the customer had in mind. So as long as he is happy I am happy. .

I'm glad you said that. I've felt the same way. In fact I took off the Wave on my CQC14 because it didn't work that great anyways.

A friend of mine sent me his M Wave to check out. Now thats the right way to do it! I tried to buy it from him. Even threatened jokingly to forget I had it but he wouldn't budge. I guess the things are hard to come buy or something. Apparently he was on a wait list for a good while before he got his.

Its one of the few Emersons on my want list currently.
