Finished this one up yesterday. Not sure what to call it. It has been artificially aged based loosely on a method that Ray Richards uses. I sure hated to take that nice 1200 grit finish and intentionally put pits into it, but I sorta like the look.

She will show up on the "Available" page on my website.

Forged 1065
Tapered Tang w/full distal tapered blade
Old Micarta Canvas handle material w/dark red liners
OAL 13 1/4"
Tip to Handle 8 1/4"

Thanks for taking the time to look............ Robert

Wow. That's just great all the way around. I'd love it if you'd share that aging technique, I could use for a project I'm working on.

That good looking thing has camp utility written all over it. I really like the aged look too, but it is hard to etch one after you put all that time in polishing it. Nice job Robert.

i would'nt leave 'er in camp, i'd take 'er anywhere she wanted to go.:D

man what a great knife. got a old timey look.

Those pics above don't do justice.

I have a chance to handle this one, and its fit and finish is really nice.
Quite light, yet has plenty of chopping potential.
