Excuse the picture. I don't know what's come over the camera lately but it's going the shop next week.

Looks like it's back lit to much Don Pete :D
I like the profile. can you get a better picture of it with a bit o light in
back of you, :)

What kind of steel is it Don
It's M2 Saw Steel Mark.

LOOKS COOOL Whats the OAL????

It's 19.5" George!

I scaled it back some George. The origional blade alone was 16"
It should make a good pen knife! :D

That ought to do some lopage.

Dont forget to send someone or come by when You can to pick up the sawblades Don.

Peter, I think your knife is really neat! What's the history on the original, I'm from Texas, haven't heard about it?

I like it i'll bet it has a nice amount of weight forward, be a good chopper. How did the M2 work and how did you heat treat it, I have heard that it can be troublesome. Gib

I don't heat treat it Gib. I use a bunch of it as discarded blades and the HT that was used on the blade has always taken and held a good edge. Seems silly to just make work for myself.

When I first started using the blades I did play with it some. It seems to air quench as soon as it is pulled from the oven.
