Thought id put this up here so that other people who dont want to spend the extra cash on a tek lok or whatever you where thinking about buying, have a cheaper alternative for more carry options for your IZULA.

1 piece of paracord about ?? feet long is all you will need.

Make sure you have the knife held the same way as i do in the picture. Sheathed and blade facing away from you. Will make it easier to follow the step by step instructions

Step 1) From the bottom, push the paracord through and tie a knot. Burn it to prevent fraying.

Step 2) Take the paracord and bring it under the sheath and through the gap [ ] it has in the sheath and over so that you are wrapping it towards you. Do this until the end of the gap making sure you keep the paracord tight in the process.

Step 3) Pull the paracord under the sheath and put it through the hole directly opposite where you just finished wrapping.

Step 4) Pull it tight all the way to the bottom of the sheath and feed it through the large hole.

Step 5) Bring it up and put it through the top hole (the one you have fed it through already). Tie a knot, burn the ends and youre done.

Happy horizontal/vertical/inverted carry. Just remember to keep it tight at all times and make sure you have solid knots.

Have fun ;)

Got a question for ya, and a pic would be an even better answer. When you put it on your belt vertically is there only one strand or two of paracord connected to your belt?

Only 1 but with a bit of tinkering, you could probably rig it so there was 2. I carry it horizontally most of the time though

Great instructions. I rigged mine up almost exactly like yours except I chose to set it up for horizontal carry only. Now I carry it everywhere and don't even know it's there.

the paracord looks like it works well but for me i use my custom kydex sheath with G clip. my paracord is already being used as a lanyard.

Pretty neat idea. That looks like an efficient way to carry an Izula.
