Rigger sticks?

I was working out today with some friends I haven't seen in a long time and they loved my bladerigger Rigger sticks with the Rigger coat. Kind of like the first time I saw them at the Frank Ortega seminar in Atlanta last July, these guys wanted to buy pairs of these sticks!

Is the wait on Rigger sticks also around 3 years?

By the way, they really fill a niche well. I have sticks that disintegrate in one session of stick on stick drills and sticks that destroy other sticks quickly but the Riggers seem to hold up well and not wreck other sticks TOO fast. My buddy's still was starting to crack at the end of the recent session, though. Heh, better his stick than mine.

I was trying to look back for other favorable comments on rigger sticks here. ???

isn't anyone else as impressed with them as I am?

Rigger sticks only take about a couple of months for delivery.

I love Rigger sticks, I should really get a pair. Rennie Raines usually has a couple of pairs ready for delivery.

My first encounter with Rigger Sticks were also with Guro Frank's pair. I currently study with him in NYC. The sticks are awesome. The weight and fell of them is superb!

The Rigger sticks so far hold up VERY well. So far I have only used them against other burnt rattan sticks which started to slightly crack at the end of our drills. The Rigger sticks have only slight marring of the Rigger coat finish so far.

I'm not saying they are indestructible, but so far I haven't busted them in training yet.

I like the smell of burning rattan, so the Rigger coating isn't for me. I normally use my sticks until they start to fray, then I tape them with 1" military duct tape(from US Cavalry). They last a long time like this. When they get soft, I throw them away. I have to admit that the Rigger coating looks real nice.
