That would be a great knife, but until they do make one check out the Boye knives. If the name sounds familiar it's where the Boye dent comes from.

I did a thread on this very subject about a year ago over at the Spyderco.com forum. It got a lot of hits too and there were some great suggestions such as adding either/or a compass and a small flashlight or map reading light.
I've heard that Myerchin does make a high quality mariner type knife. But I'm sure that if Spyderco would ever go ahead with their original C-06 Yachtsman or even a new design that it would certainly garner a lot of market share.
The Salt Series is just a great new step in Spyderco's climb to the top of the production knife world. Personally I would like to see an H-1 big Dyad with a Marlinspike added to it. That would be "cat's meow" of marine knives
