Does anyone know of any good rigging knives in the $30-40 price range? I've looked around, and all I could find were knives where the blade steel was listed as "surgical stainless". Yikes. Do you guys know of any knives with a locking marlin spike and decent blade about 3 inches in length?
I don't know if this is the right forum, but I'm not sure of a better place to ask...

Rigging knives tend to have a stainless steel with more chrome and less carbon than "premium" steels to prevent corrosion, but there are some good ones.

The Camillus 695 and 696 are fine though a bit on the heavy side, I have the 695 with plain edge, Ibberson and Myerchin make some really good stuff, probably above your budget though.

My Captain Currey has been a good beater though the spring is a bit strong for my taste.
