And a quick photo...

More soon!

I have the scales almost ready for glue-up!

Here you can see that I went for the best wood in the block. It has nice figure for teak and I hope to bring it out.

That is the best picture I have seen of that piece, I was kinda going on faith when I bought it! It is very nice, especially since teak almost never has any figure to it, and it rarely ever gets burls. Gonna be sweet! If you could send me a piece or two of the scrap I think I may make a couple lanyard beads for a retainer lanyard with it.

Thanks, I have a feeling when you order wood from AKS it comes in looking better than the photos. They have some blackwood I'm going to order for a fighter I have planned, it will be W2 steel with hamon, blackwood handle and a wrought iron guard and fittings. It will be a complete departure from anythingI have ever made and I will probably only make one.

I plan on sending all the scraps back to you, I considered cutting the wood for more yield but I took all the best stuff for your knife! :D Those bigger end pieces are pretty nice though.
