I rigged up one of my Ah1's with natural cordage ( willow bark) and then with fishing line. Enjoy the pics.
My Izula, AH1, SAK, willow bark, and the willow stick i used.
the next step was i cut a notch with the saw on my SAK for the arrowhead to sit in, and i cleaned the end of the spear shaft up with the Izula
Then i rolled some willow bark into two little rolls to add to the sides of the AH1 in the groove i cut in the shaft. they will help secure the arrowhead when i wrap it wil willow bark.
finnished product.
it was definetly secure enough to use. I was impressed.
Then i cut the arrowhead free and re-wrapped it with 15lb test fishing line.
the fishing line is a better choice to use in this application if you can spare it, but the willow bark will definetly work.
a pic with my hest
Anyway, i know there have been other how to's on this topic, but i figured i would post mine because you never knwo what else you can learn.
enjoy!
