  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Right way to bring sale item back up

I posted a for sale listing on 8/20, how and when can I bring my posting back up to the top? Thank you

14 days from the original sale you can list it again

Since "Bumping" is disabled to curb abuse; to get your sales listing back to the top, after the alloted time (14 days, see Rycens' post above) has elapsed, you have to repost the sales ad.

Older thread I know... But still relevant.

For future reference and clarity sake: If one were to repost a listing in the sales forums. After 14days, do I edit my original thread title to something like “Withdrawn” or “Delete please” then create a new For Sale thread? (This then causes a moderator to delete my original *first* sales thread)

Just want to go about it with as little stress as possible.

Thank you

You don’t have to edit your original thread title unless you want to. After 14 days no one is going to see your original thread unless their searching.

Also, a moderator will not delete the original thread, there’s no need or reason to.

While not required, it is a good idea to edit the original thread, otherwise someone doing a search may think you may still be selling the knife long after it is gone. I suggest replacing the price with relisted and adding the same to the title.
They don't delete the old threads, so it will still be out there
Not a big deal either way
