I just ordered one of these from knifecenter.com, and have to say this is the most value for the money i've ever seen in a knife. Everything about it is excellent. the ATS-34 blade was shaving sharp out of the box. The lock-up is bank vault tight, with no play whatsoever. You actually have to look closely to even see where the tang of the blade engages the rocker bar. it's like one solid piece of steel. The contoured G-10 handle has one of the most secure and comfortable grips i've ever handled, and are amazingly slim and lightweight at only about 0.4" in width.
At about the same size and price of a Gerber EZ-Out, it makes the Gerber look cheap and flimsy. knifecenter.com still has them in stock for only $34.95. Get one and tell everybody what you think. I hate to see such a great knife go unnoticed.

But it also looks too much like Spyderco Chinook.
And I am too much of a Spydie fan...
Still, G-10 and ATS-34 might be worth a try.
Thanks for the info!
