The Rigid RG35 knife is 5" closed 4" clip blade... It has a deer and forest etch that looks like damascus but it's not, its surgical steel. Laminated Walnut scales and nickel silver bolsters. Made in Japan.

Rigid knife company (not to be confused with Ridgid) started in the early '70's in Santee California by Bill Duff (then foreman at Buck Knives), Dean Parks, and Don Collum.

The company went thru several changes including a move to Arkansas, a bankruptcy - the remaining stock and the "Rigid Knives" name was purchased by United Cutlery, then the name sold to Smoky Mountain Knife Works.

Several of these RG35 knives have recently sold on "epay" for $40 to $80 bucks. There is currently one on "Craigslisp" (Prescott, AZ) for $50.

Man you really know your knives, Thanks so much for your help. I just bought this one on ebay for just under $16 and that includes shipping.
I had a gut feeling it was a pretty decent buy. Again thanks for your help.
