I am trying to find any information on a knife that I have had for many years. It is a RIGID RG1000 Sportsmans Trophy Series 3 blade folding knife made in Solingen Germany. It is hand made with stag handles and all the blades are etched with different animals. It is very large in size and high in quality. It was probably used as a store display at some time. It is in pristine condition in the original box. If anyone has seen another one like it or has any information about this knife, please let me know. I have been looking for many years and have come up with nothing. As far as I can tell this is the only one on the planet..........Well it has been another year of searching since the last post above. It is now Feb.2006. Nobody has ever seen or heard of another one like it or even similar to it. I want to thank Blade Forums for allowing me to use this web site for my on going search for any information on this unique knife.......Well it is now Oct.2011 and I was finally able to find a little information about this unique knife. There were only 50 of these ever produced.They were handmade as a display piece. The only other one that I found was auctioned on ebay back in 2007. I could not find out how much it sold for however. That's about all I was able to find in my search for information about this knife. I will keep looking until I find out more.
