Thanks Bruce,

When I started thinking about going for my JS, Dave Lisch took me over to your table (Oregon show)and showed me how clean your knives were. I definitely took inspiration from you. Hope to catch up to at a show in the near future.

Congratulations on passing the performance test. By the looks of the knives you'll have no problems in Atlanta. They all look great.

Dan,
Your knives are beautiful. I especially like the small and large hunters. All your knives are very clean and well designed. Ill look forward to seeing you outside the judging room as I will be testing for my JS as well. See you in a couple days.
Mike

Thank you gentlemen. I appreciate the kind words. I look forward to seeing you in a couple of days. This is my first BLADE SHOW and I am anxious to take in the sites and meet all the great people makers and collectors alike.

I remember that show. Dave brought you and I think Mike Turner over. Dave was pumping me up so much My head was the size of a basketball. :D Enjoy the journey you have done your homework. Have a good time in Atlanta.

My five presentation knives PASSED and I received my Journeyman Smith rating!!!

Nine out of the ten applicants also recieved their JS rating. I was one of the last two called in to talk to the Judges. MS Mike Williams and MS George Peck shared with with me things I could do to improve on my knives and overall said I had a very good set of knives. As it turns out I was the last one to leave the room. I was pleasently surprised to find Dave Lisch, the last one in the waiting area, still there for me. My wife and family could not come with me, so it was great to have someone to share it with when I came out. Thanks for being there fore me Dave !!! Your a Good man ! Thank you for your help and advice.

Thank you to all who supported me and shared so much of your knowledge.

I am excited to see what will come off my work bench in the near future. Stay Tuned.....

Congratulations again Daniel. It was great meeting you. I look forward to seeing more knives in the future.

Daniel - It was a pleasure meeting you. Enjoyed sharing an isle with you at The Blade. Hopefully we'll meet up again soon.

Daniel, congratulations again on making JS. I had fun getting to know you a bit and hopefully in the future we'll get to hang out again sometime.

Scott,

Thank you. It was great to meet you, your wife and son. He is a great knife maker like his father. Those two knives he had made, at the show, were very nice. I would be proud to own either one of them. Hope to see yo again in the near future.

Steve,

It was nice to meet you also. I think your wife that watched my table while I grabbed some lunch. Thank her for me. Hope to see you at an upcoming show.
