Ring sizing?

I would like to order a Ti ring later on from boonerings.com, but how do I determine my size? Thanks. The diameter of my ring finger is .6780 inch

As someone who ordered his Ti wedding ring online, let me give you this advice: go to a jewler's shop and get fitted for a ring. They have all these steel rings of gradually increasing size, and they can get the size just right. They can only resize Ti so far, so it pays to get the right size ordered to begin with.

This is where I got mine, btw...

Go to Walmart and try on some rings. They have cheap rings on display so you can try them on without bothering a clerk. The sizes are marked; they have all the different sizes....

Right, there's no separate size scale for men and women.

I used to make jewelry and I know I have a ring sizer around here somewhere but even if I could find it and mike it ... I don't have a lot of confidence that measuring the diameter of your finger with a strip of paper or a string or whatever you used is going to tell you what size ring you're going to feel comfortable with. Try on a ring and try the next bigger and the next smaller sizes and swap 'em back and forth a few times and in a few minutes you'll be sure what size you want.

If your going to wear it on your right hand, make sure you use the "right hand" ring size s, or vice versa if your going to wear it on your left hand. ;)

Proper sizing is done by measuring tight at the largest knuckle. You need to slip the ring past that first. ;)

Try and figure out if you want a thin or thick ring, too. That can throw the size off a smidgen. I've got a Ti ring, and it's been through all kinds of crap and keeps looking really nice, a lot better than silver did. .

FYI, titanium cannot be sized at all. Not like gold or silver anyway.

In theory, you could machine the opening bigger, but I doubt anyone is going to offer a service like that. Plus, it only works one way.

It's not sized the same, but they can and do machine the opening bigger if you need it done. If the opening is too big, what they do is weld a tiny piece of Ti wire into the ring to make the opening a bit smaller.

From the site...

"If you mistakenly ordered the wrong ring size, or if you were improperly sized, our warranty covers sizing up to a 1/2 size loosening -or 1/4 size "titanium rod" tightening only, for most styles, at no additional charge. But some specific models (the extra slim stealth band, for example) may need to be entirely re-crafted, even if required resizing is within a half-size looser."
