Woke up this morning and put on Fox and Friends to watch WLP and see what was going on and was punched in the face with the awful news that Chris Kyle was murdered yesterday. (one report here: http://news.yahoo.com/former-marine...an-sniper-052020338--abc-news-topstories.html ) I didn't have the privilege of knowing him, but I know of him and many of the things he has done. He was a true patriot and will be very sorely missed. I have been very down and bumming all day and just wanted to say a few words
Chris: My condolences to your wife and children, I know that they won't ever get over their loss but hope that with time the grief will subside. May you rest in peace brother, I can only hope to meet you in the afterlife to shake your hand and say thanks.

I can only echo your sentiment. I never met the man, but after all of the interviews, and videos I've heard and seen of him, I'd proudly call him Brother. It is going to make reading his book a little difficult.

Cheers to all our nation's warriors.

In a country where we use thw word hero for just about anyone; today america has lost a true hero and patriot. May his soul rest in peace. His family and friends are in my prayers.

A true American hero! He was a Warrior's Warrior and will be deeply missed. A tragic day in American history...

Absolutely sad and tragic. Hit me like a sucker punch to the gut. RIP Chris Kyle American Warrior and Hero.

Man, that's a sad story. RIP Chris Kyle, thank you for your service to our country, you are a true patriot, you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

It was a tragic day indeed. May he rest in peace and live forever.

A cloud of smoke and a halo of prayers for him, his family, all that loved him, and those that follow in his footsteps.

Also R.I.P Chad Littlefield. He and Chris were killed trying to help a fellow vet suffering from PTSD. They were class acts and had such great hearts for soliders who war didn't end when they came home.

Heres another thread on it http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...Ramadi-Has-Left-Us?highlight=the+devil+ramadi The man is a true hero and some punk A$$ wanted his 15 minutes of fame so he killed Mr. Kyle and another gentleman, as I said in the above thread . RIP BROTHER Thoughts and prayers to the families of Mr. Kyle and the other gentleman. Who knows how high the death toll of American troops would be if it weren't for Mr. Kyle, The man deserves a statue in Washington D.C. for all his heroism. Once again Rest in peace BROTHER , I never met him, but while deployed I heard about him he was known simple as " the legend" It's truly a sad day when One brother kills another, I know several people with PTSD and they may have flashbacks but never seen any get violent just scared, So I'm not buying he killed the 2 gentleman because he had PTSD , as a combat Vet myself I can , hell I posted it all in the other thread if your interested click the link.
