Or are ZT's so damned tough it survived that explosion?

Spoiler alert, for those that don't know, an explosion tore apart the Navy yard on NCIS, and Gibbs gave his knife to someone to take apart an explosive, and that went up. I didn't even see the episode but when I read that his knife was blown up, I feared the worst.

There was a thread on this..

I think it's gone... it wasn't his first knife in the series history anyway, and as we all know ZT won't produce more 302s NO MATTER WHAT THE DEMAND IS. ;)

I'm thinking a tiger-striped 056* with a one-off Desert Tan scale for his next. Let demand build up for that, then release it as a large but limited edition after a year...

It did not look like a ZT302 to me. I am pretty sure the knife used in that episode was a ZT350.

The knife silent hunter was talking about was used by Gibbs to cut the top of the driver's door panel and was in his hand and the criminal guy who he gave it to used to be a bomb tech, so Gibbs handed it to him to use, before they blow up.

The knife he was using was a tiger striped coyote brown ZT 0302. Normally Gibbs uses a 0301 ranger green tiger striped version, so the 302 must have been his backup piece. I think we will still see the ranger green 301 in the series.

I just watched it from the dvr last night.

First it was coyote brown and then black and then back to brown! It does look to me like a 300 series knife upon further review. I don't know why I thought that it was a 350. I guess that is what I get for watching it with my wife while she is yelling at me "what kind of knife is that?"

Ya it looked all black, but that's because the titanium side looks black, he handed it to the bomb refuser guy brown side down.
