RIP, John Le Carré

Those of you who enjoy great spy fiction surely know by now that author John Le Carré died recently. I thought it might be a fun thread to suggest what SAK or multi you think might be most likely carried by his characters. I have a few thoughts, but I'll let you chaps chime in first.

Just one caveat: We're talking realist Le Carré-type characters here, not super hero James Bond types.

I’d wager it’d be something like what I just picked up; a Victorinox Huntsman with walnut scales. Classy looking and understated but very capable.

Thinking of George Smiley, who spent rather a lot of time in Germany, probably a Mercator. Certainly a lethal knife in the right hands, and very good at slicing up food. An elegant blade in a slim package.
