RIP Neil. You inspired many generations to reach for the sky. Now you've gone exploring places far from the eyes and understanding of mortal men.

I watched him walk on the moon.

Then I met him....

He was a friend of my father.

RIP Neil.

Truly an inspiring person.
Could have made that moon walk a commercial thing and refused to do so.

I still remember that night when Neil stepped out onto the moon, we had clear skies and the full moon was huge, and it reflected off of the water of lake in dead calm conditions. The black and white TV showed him out on the moon in his suit. I looked back at the moon in wonder knowing that there were two souls standing and walking on its surface... God speed Neil, an explorer and a hero.

Being born in '69,I was too young to see it on TV.He was definitely one of the great ones. His name will live on forever in the history books.

Rest in Peace Sir.My sincere condolences go out to his family & loved ones.
