Robbie always seemed more soft spoken and less flamboyant than his Dad to me. He made some spectacular jumps.
One error in the article. It mentions Evel crashing his Harley in the 1967 Ceasars Palace Fountain jump. The bike wasn't a Harley. It was a Triumph T100.
I personally met Robbie Knievel and Evel Knievel at the Hollywood sportatorium 1979 I believe. They were both great guys. Evel Knievel was jumping 10 Coca-Cola trucks . My nephews got the sit on evil Knievel's motorcycle. Evil gave them signed autographs and some tokens. This saddens me.
