Genius funny man and friend to the knife community Shelly Berman
has succumbed to Alsheimers disease. My Dad had all his records
and he helped shape my sense of humor. He entertained the country
for over 60 years. Condolences to his family.
 
There is a blast from the past.
Mr. Severtecher... I never knew Mr. Berman but my (mothers) family were quite close to Mr Murry, and Katie.
I am almost 60 now but as a kid of 8 or 9, I remember Mr. Bermans name in joyous conversations.
Black, and white TV, and re-runs of Author Murry's Dance Studio. Shelly's name always came up.

To quote one of my favorite's... Those were the days!
