Nothing quite says summer like ripe juicy melons. These also mean my favorite oportunity for gool ole indoor choppin' with Himalayan Imports Khurkis, Swords, Bowies and Farmcata, for example:

@Issun - Did i hear somebody giggle while you were dicing?

bric has some control and the melons remain edible. Issun has the same trouble as i when preparing food with H.I. product.
Try as i might to stop, i always end up with salsa sized chunks or baby food puree.

I have my farmcata hanging in the kitchen.

Recently caught a salmon off the beach. It wouldn't fit in my solar oven, until I gave it one hack with the farmcata. Then I had 2 nice half-salmons that fit in the oven.

Here's a pic of the salmon. I didn't document the Procustean exercise with the farmcata.
