Yangdu asked me to make a post to explain an email issue she's experiencing.

The day before Uncle Bills and Rusty's memorial day she received an email from her stepson who is also named James.
Since then her email is listed as James Martino rather than Yangdu.

If you get an email from James Martino it is really Yangdu until she figures out how to fix it.

She wanted everyone to know that sadly Uncle Bill did not come back to life but of course he lives on with all of us and always will.

Never heard of an email changing like this, might have to call Ghost Busters or something.

I had noticed that, was wondering what was happening. Wasn't too concerned though.

I dont know but I think Aunti Y has the last remaining email address from AOL. I think all you got to do is go to AOL settings and change the "name" associated with that email. I think I closed my AOL account about 25 years ago so I cant verify that.
That does remind me of a funny story tho. I used to have an electric can opener and every time id open a can of cat food they would all dart to the kitchen. Anyway I replaced that "You got Mail" message with a sound clip of that can opener opening a can. Needless to say the cats went cray every time I got mail! They werent the same after that

Change AOL Mail "From" display name or AOL account first / last...

1. 1 Login to your email account.
2. 2 Click on Options (top right) and choose "Mail Settings".
3. 3 Select the Compose options on the left.
4. 4 Type your first and last name in the Display Name text box.
5. 5 Click on Save Settings at the bottom.
6. etc.
