Ripper Question?

No, at least I do not think so.

Mine are on the same side as show in the pictures, but I've seen pics on the Exchange that were on the other side.

Woah,,,,,,How interesting......

Mine is definitely cut on the back side from those......

Can't believe I haven't seen this difference before....

Tune me in Guys!!!!!

I guess it is off to the search engine to see if you guys have kicked this around before. Still can't believe I never noticed what side they were cut on....

A leftie Ripper,,,whoda thunk it....

Mine's cut the same as the picture, which is the other side from the pic Jerry posted. The logo's on that side, ah the "normal" side, facing you with the tip pointing left.

I'd forgotten how awesome a knife it really is, well though out for it's intended purpose.

I'm gonna have to go get a shot of scosch to figure that one out....lol......

In my pic, Ripper in left hand, looking at cutouts of the serrations...

I wonder how many were cut like this? Serrations on non logo side...

Maybe I need to twist.., er a pour another, the serrations on mine are on the non logo side, as I think most are. The original picture showed the serrations on what would be the logo side, but the blade is sterile. I often wondered if they just flipped that picture.

Ok,,,Thanks Guys!!!!! Really,,,, Good info,,,good pics.....

I should have realized all of this before. Just one of those things that never clicked with me...
This old age ting is kicking my butt.

I do see some difference in what we are calling left and right pertaining to the serations tho, but not a problem. Serrations on the right (non logo) side is a rightie. Serrations on Left (logo side) a leftie.

Or do I still have it wrong....lol......I need a drink...........

I appreciate the help...

WHOA!!!!! Hold on there, Tex. I hope that wasn't a ripper proto!
That knife is supposed to come up some time in the line up! I love this knife, I sure hope Jerry doesn't yank it!

I have been waiting on it as well!...hopefully soon:thumbup:

It looks like this is pretty common. Either they flip the photos, or they have an ambidextrous grind shop.;)
