that is the one i bought most recently...... just thought they were going for more than that these days.... and no i am not selling it...lol

So tell us, how do you like it compared to your other Busses? I have a sleeper underrated busse that is my current favorite. Trying to find another one right now also.

i like it but havent had time to really use it either.... been perfecting my cgfbm and such,,,,,, but i like the feel of it

The odd thing about the rippers is that this is the ONLY Busse model that I've seen that people want more of the thinner version....
(and thus demanding higher prices)
The STRipper.
I don't get it!
Both were produced in the same numbers, right?

Thanks for the pics...you wouldnt happen to have an extra one would ya?:D

That polished naked ripper looks sweet:thumbup:

I have had both.

I have to say, I too, like the ST Ripper better. (In fact, I love it. Probably my most used Busse, other than my AD, which is my EDC.)

Nothing wrong with the regular Ripper either. If you like the EU-17 mini, you'll like this. They seem awfully alike, just add some recurve and serrations.

It's odd though. Seems many Busse loyalists have been a little slow on the uptake on loving the regular Ripper for some reason (mine felt decidedly heavy in the hand. Not even sure why that fact bothered me, since I tend to LOVE that feature in other Busses.) At any rate, I'm sure, Valley, that there would be many takers, as yourself, at $375-380 or so, and on a given day, you may get ~$400-425. But who knows these days. Prices seem astronomical on some models (SHBAs for example) and lower than they have been of late, on others.

An interesting and impressive chunk of INFI though! Hope you enjoy it!

I really like the Non serrated ...version...of the? STripper Ripper? Which is which?

I think there was one made like that, special order.
The Ripper is basically a recurve mini EU17 w/o serrations.
If you really want one, Bill Siegle might recurve it for you.

For those that may not have seen the Ripper here is a shot of mine.

At first I was not sure about this one - but now that I have one I think they are very under rated. Excellent balance and fit in the hand. But she is a Fighter! Not a Chopper...... :)

To me - Another Great Busse Blade!
