Rit Dye Becker Micarta Scales

I bought these custom canvas micarta scales off of amazon.com but didn't like the light color. Here are some pictures of my quick rit dye job. I chose dark brown dye.

Yeah. I covered the blade in yellow mustard and dabbed it with a paper towel. I then rinsed it and repeated the process. I do still that the stock sheath but will someday upgrade. Would love a bk2 before that though.

Nice! That's how I did the patina on my 12. Yeah, I'm the same way. Sheath or knife? No brainer...
Gonna try my hand at kydex one day.

I see it too. Its the lighting....or lack thereof.
