Decided to try the rit dye treatment on my gray delica. Think it came out pretty good and it was really easy to do. This delica also has a stonewashed blade and pocket clip. What do you guys think?

That turned out really nice! Would you mind sharing exactly how you did it?

Sure, it is ridiculously easy and quick. I used royal blue powdered Rit Dye. I boiled about 2 cups of tap water then poured it into a glass Pyrex measuring cup, added about half the powdered dye and gave it a stir. Then I used a metal coat hanger through the spydie hole to dunk the knife in. I'd leave it in for 30 - 60 seconds at a time then pull it out to check progress. Keep doing that until you reach the desired color. Once I was satisfied I ran it under cool tap water, dried off the excess water with a paper towel then used an air compressor to blow any remaining water out of all the cracks and crevices. I put a little oil on the pivot too. Couple of things to keep in mind... use gloves and consider the original color of the knife. A white or gray handle will take colors much more readily and show them truer. Hope this helps.

Lighter shades are definitely possible. You can use less of the powdered dye and shorter dunk time. You can also use combinations of dyes to acheive different colors. For example, blue dye mixed with pearl gray results in a nice slate blue color. If you google "rit dye" you can find diffferent color combinations.
