Rit dye micarta?

Hey guys so I recently picked up a a knife that I really love, but am not to fond of the orange micarta that came with it. My question is can you dye micarta? And if so, what colors could I make with it being orange other than black? Thanks

I've dyed orange micarta navy blue with no trouble...basically any color darker than orange will work.
