I was just wondering if anyone has rit dyed their gray handled para 2? Colors used and results? A day or so ago I turned my yellow pacific salt orange with red dye and I think it came out pretty good but I feel that the grey might be a little bit more tricky especially with the g10. Was thinking of either an orange handle or possibly blue. Heres a pic of the pacific salt to add some color to this thread

You don't' need to take the whole knife apart unless you're really worried about the g10 under the liners gets dyed....just a lot of unnecessary work; you'll be fine with taking the clip off. I think a navy blue would come out better than the royal blue. Orange would be tough and would probably come out as a burnt orange at best. Also, instead of letting it dry, you can drop it in some cold water right after coming out and let it sit in there for a minute or so.

there is a blue para out with m390 and the orange is coming out too.. unless you didn't get a preorder in for it.

None of the colors are very available right now. You might find a brown one used, but the others you have to buy on the sales forums and they can get expensive, especially the blue one. (Too bad blue is my favorite color.)

Back to the original post of using dye on the handles- I wonder how long it lasts before it starts to wear off on the edges.

The blue PM2 is still available for purchase from bento BD. You can still buy a new one for less than many of the ones sold here on the forums. I'm not really sure why people buy the second hand ones when they could get new ones straight from the dealer for less, but that's just me.
