I have a Bk39 and love it. Does anyone know if the green handle scales will take rit dye? I'm a little concerned about the green being misinterpreted as a zombie knife over here in U.K.

Shouldn’t be a problem. I just dyed a set of tan tweener handles and it took the dye no problem. What colour are you going for?

That’ll be ok. Dark colors are easy peasy. Just finished a set in purple for my daughter, and dark brown for mine:

(The brown ones were actually done using the same purple dye, just not as long)
The dye hasn’t rubbed off yet, but it’s only been a little while. Boiling water, around 1/3 of the dye packet, and a splash of vinegar. Check progress every minute or so; they seem to take colour quickly. Ran under cold water to set the dye. Good to go.
