RIT Dye

I recently saw some nice mods done with RIT Dye. I want to dye my yellow mini-grip another color. Can I dye a knife that is already colored? Can I dye a Black knife like my BM 530? Thanks in advance for sharing your wisdom.

Typically you can only die things darker. Sometimes a dark item dyed with a light color will pick up a tinge but it won't truly be dyed. Your yellow handle can be pretty much any color, but remember the dye will be additive to the yellow. Orange comes out pretty nicely on yellow items, as does red and green. Experiment with timing and dye concentration to get what you want.
