Ritter BK12

I've always wanted one of these knives. I remember many years ago when I was active here, that small batches of the Ritter BK12 would appear randomly and periodically at a certain retailer or two. Does that still happen or has my ship sailed on buying this knife new?

I just had too many knives in that size range.

I think the collector bug wouldn't permit me to get rid of one. The novelty of it alone makes it interesting to me.

To me, I get rid of knives I don't use. I do have an unused proto of a nameless BK I won't part with. I believe there were 200 of them made.

I had #5, shipped it off to a buddy in NZ.
replaced it with #134 - never used it, but added micarta and a Tx Hunt Co combat master sheath, so it's not "new" in my mind

I got lucky - a solid member sent me a pm about some knives he was going to list ( the 12 was among them). the BK12 was on my list for years. To be honest, I like the 12’s profile more than most Beckers I’ve had ( like a cross between the 10, 2 and 16 ). I don’t plan on parting with that one. Light use so far, more to come
