Were any combo edge Ritters ever made? Thinking about having serrations added to my full size. Thanks!

... What's the diff between a Ritter and a regular production?

CPM S30V stone washed blade steel, high flat grind with 15º (30º inclusive) edge, 6.9º bevel, and a more prominent ramped thumb rest. The blade profile is a more useful shape too.

Yep, there were. Haven't seen any for sale for awhile, though. Here is a pic of the Ritter Grip lineup less the most recent orange mini:

Nice collection of Ritters. I hope the pink one is used by your wife/girlfriend. :)

Lol! Not my collection. I should have mentioned in that post that it was a photo from Doug Ritter's web site showing the various models of his Ritter Grips. I posted it because it shows the serrated version - which I do not own. I do have a small collection (6) of Ritter knives including the fixed blade MK2. No family photo, however. :)

Do you ever edc the fixed blade?

No. But I live on a rather large piece of land and often carry it when out and about on my property or when running around in my UTV.

Up here, in the Mtns. of Northern New Mexico, it isn't unusual to see someone with a large fixed blade on their belt. But carrying a fixed blade is just too cumbersome so I rarely do it.

OT, but wanted to say that back in the early 2000s I went to Philmont with my older son. What an amazing place northern NM is!

Back on topic - I've had a couple of CE BMs over the years. IMHO, BM hasn't really ever figured out how to cut serrations; they seem to work much less well than another company's serrated edges. :o
