Ritter Grip blade play

All of a sudden my fullsize Ritter Grip developed enough lateral blade play to actually rattle in the handle when in the closed position. Is a fix for this just a matter of tightening the pivot screw, or does it sound like something else going on? Never had a folder develop that much blade play that quickly, don't even think I used it today. How about loctite on the pivot screw, is that recommended?

I was using my Benchmade 710 one day when it seemed like all of a sudden there was a massive amount of lateral play. When I checked the pivot screw it was finger loose. I put some blue loctite on the screw and tightened it back up. Haven't had that problem again and its been well over two years now :thumbup:

I had the same problem with my 707. I noticed one day that the blade was off centered and that I could move the knife in the handle. I opened the blade and then noticed how loose the blade was. I put a little Loctite on the pivot screw and tightened the blade and have never had a problem. And that was over 3 years ago. I love the BM 707.
