anybody elses ritter grip have a little side to side play when you put decent pressure on the blade moving it from side to side? just curious.. yes ive adjusted the pivot etc etc i know how to do that haha. its NOTHING major very minor again just curious.

Side to side play can be eliminated by pivot adjustment. If, when removing blade play, it becomes stiff to open and close the blade, you're not using enough lube or the correct lube.
this knife is getting returned so no worries. im not a fan of it. YES this one instance has put a bad taste in my mouth about the whole knife in general. i do use the correct oil and i do know how to adjust a pivot on a knife its not brain surgery. thanks either way guys!

Mine doesn't have any play at all. That's too bad that it's turned you off owning one. I love the blade shape of the Ritter. I'm just waiting for Cuscadi to get a particular type of G10 in to make some scales for mine.
