Got my Ritter Griptillian yesterday; just a few observations: guess I better get used to tip up; not as orange as I would like but it will work; sharp but not like some Kershaws I have taken out of box; looks good; nice smooth action(this is my first Axis lock; like the size; will touch up the blade and take it elk hunting next month; as for now, will try it as EDC for a while to get used to it. Yep, think I like it!

I have the same knife. It's very nice, and perfect for a whole host of outdoor chores but it's a little bigger than I like for EDC. After you've carried it for a while let us know what you think. Enjoy.

Congrats!

I like tip down myself, so I'm with you there.

Although I'm more of a Ritter mini-Grip fan, I do carry a full-size in my carry bag and have found it a most usefull design.

Got mine last month. Came quite sharp, even at the tip. I really like the stone-washed finish on the blade, and the Axis lock is quite smooth. I'm not crazy about the scales and might one day go for some Wilkins grips, but the idea of spending more on scales than I spent on the knife bugs me.

Really did not expect the griptillian to be as smooth as my Dejavoo but it is and I like the Axis lock better than the liner lock; just watched the thread showing the Axis lock tricks; won't watch it again because I might be tempted to try some of them and I know I would cut myself; surely do not regret getting this Griptillian.

Yep. It grows on you. I have a full size Ritter Grip in black. Has been my EDC for 3+ years now.Good purchase
